Phases In The American Core Curriculum

The American core curriculum is structured into two main learning phases. The elementary phase and module school phase. Each phase is designed to match a child developmental stage, gradually building academic skills, independence and critical thinking.

Middle School Phase (Grade 6-8)

This phase lays the foundation for lifelong learning. It focuses on building strong literacy and numeracy skills, while nurturing curiosity, creativity and a positive attitude towards learning.

Key Learning Areas Include:

English Language Arts:   Literacy and analysis, structured essay writing                                    and oral presentations.

Mathematics:                 Ratios,Algebraic thinking,geometry,                                                          Statastics and pre-algebra.

Science:                        Scientific method,Life Science,Physical and earth                                     science,intoductory Physics,and chemistry

Social Studies:                Ancient civilisations,US and world history History                                     Geography,Government and Global issues ;
