Requirements for Learners to Use Minecraft Education

1. Device Requirements

Learners can use Minecraft on a range of platforms. The following are supported:

  1. PC or Laptop (Windows 10/11 or macOS)
  2. Tablet (iPad or Android tablet).
  3. Gaming Consoles such as:
    1. PlayStation (PS4 or PS5)
    2. Xbox (One or Series X/S))
    3. Nintendo Switch

      Minecraft Bedrock Edition (available on consoles/tablets)

      3. Minecraft Account

      For other versions: A personal Minecraft account (Mojang or Microsoft) is required for Bedrock Edition

      2. Familiarity with Minecraft controls:
        1. Moving, jumping, placing blocks, using inventory
