What We Offer

At Latitude Home Education, we proudly offer the American High School Diploma as a flexible, affordable, and internationally recognised high school qualification for homeschoolers.

Our programme is designed for learners in Grades 9–12, and is equivalent to the South African National Senior Certificate (NSC). It provides a learner-centred, customisable approach to completing high school from the comfort of home.

The American High School Diploma is offered as a self-study programme, allowing learners to:

  • Progress at their own pace

  • Learn according to their personal interests, abilities, and goals

  • Choose from a broad selection of core and elective subjects

We follow an approach grounded in multiple intelligences, helping learners develop their individual talents while building a solid academic foundation

We empower families to personalise the curriculum to suit each learner’s strengths, learning style, and future goals. Our model supports:

  • Individualised learning plans tailored to each student

  • Guidance in subject selection and academic planning

  • Emphasis on critical thinking, creativity, and real-world skills

In addition to core academic subjects, learners can choose from a wide range of electives to explore their passions and talents. Electives allow learners to pursue:

  • Hobbies and personal interests

  • Career-aligned courses

  • Skills development in creative, technical, or life-enriching areas

This approach promotes deeper engagement, self-motivation, and lifelong learning.

Our American High School Diploma model is ideal for:

  • Learners who benefit from individualised attention

  • Families seeking educational flexibility without compromising standards

  • Students preparing for university, entrepreneurship, or the workforce
