Pathways
At Latitude Home Education, we understand that every learner has unique goals, strengths, and dreams. That’s why we offer four flexible pathways to complete the American High School Diploma—a matric-equivalent qualification recognised internationally and by USAF (Universities South Africa).
Each pathway outlines the minimum credit requirements and gives families a suggested subject framework from Grades 9 to 12. These options support academic, vocational, and personal growth journeys—whether learners plan to study at university, attend a college, or enter the workforce.
1. International Pathway
Recommended for university admission in South Africa and globally .
This is our most popular pathway, ideal for learners planning to study at a South African or international university. It meets the 22-credit diploma minimum and is structured to align with USAF exemption requirements.

- Foreign Language credit (any SA additional language is acceptable)

- Emphasis on 21st-century skills and academic excellence
CAPS curriculum subjects may be integrated into this pathway for credit purposes.
2. College 4 Pathway

3. College 2 Pathway
For learners planning to attend colleges or vocational institutions
This flexible pathway is suited to learners who prefer a career-focused or technical college route, and do not require intensive university prerequisites such as Calculus or advanced Physics.
