Assessments
Our formal assessment tasks are created by various subject teacher specialists. Our assessments are appropriate to the age and developmental level of the learners schooling phase.
We use Project-Based Learning (PBL) Assessment tasks that covers the content of the subject, ensuring that a variety of competencies, skills, values and attitudes of the subject are assessed as contemplated in the various Curriculum and Asssessment Policy Statements.
Project -Based Learning is a student centered, inquiry-based learning method that allows learners to demonstrate their own unique potential and ways of thinking. Learners are stimulated to learn through:
- Reflection and reasoning
- Problem-solving techniques
- Selft-directed learning strategies
- Research
Assessments are provided in a "Ready to Use" Portfolio of Evidence Framework file and a separate file with marking guidelines and mark record sheets for easy recording of learner's performance in all Formal Asssessment Tasks.
