Latitude Home Education offers a flexible and affordable option for homeschoolers to complete a Grade 12 Equivalent Qualification.

We offer the GED® as a hybrid model of online learning with GED Academy supplemented with GED endorsed study guides. The GED learning programme is online self-directed learning that allows learners freedom and flexibility to study at their own pace in the comfort of their own homes. The GED Academy Learning Programme provides easy to understand content, that teaches students what they need to know to pass the GED exams. It includes built in practice tests and an adaptive learning system that creates a personalised learning plan for each student.

All content is 100% aligned to the GED testing objectives and the built in practice tests are timed just like the official GED test.

There are over 3500 interactive activities, lessons, exercises, tests and simulated exams. The study guides help learners to master the most important test topics and develop critical thinking skills. It includes features to prepare for the examinations and improves learners’ scores.

Detailed summaries of the exam format, content, scoring and an in-depth overview of the knowledge required to pass the test, quick reviews and did you knows that provide interesting information, highlighted key concept to solidify learner understanding of content and exam concepts.

Minimum requirements for the GED is Pre-GED or Grade 10 with English Home Language and Mathemetical Literacy.

Learners can enrol for GED at 16 years of age and write examinations at 17 years of age.
