IGCSE

Years 10–11 | Grades 9–10

The Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is the world’s most popular international qualification for learners aged 14 to 16. It is a globally recognised benchmark of academic excellence, accepted by all South African universities and leading higher education institutions worldwide.

At Latitude Home Education, we offer the IGCSE as a flexible, self-paced programme, ideal for home-educated learners who want access to an international standard of learning with personalised support.

IGCSE offers a flexible curriculum with a choice of 70 subjects in any combination. There are no compulsory subjects and students are free to study a range of subjects. Cambridge IGCSE are subject-based qualifications (learners are awarded one certificate for each subject) and is usually taken over a two years.
